Fall 2009 takes a cue from the black satyrical ink drawings of Aubrey Beardsley. Black is no longer solid; rich layers of textures are evoked through waffle, boucle and lacquered terry surfaces . They weave themselves into silhouettes that are tailored and waist defined or handkerchief hemmed. Citron, Venetian Blue and Vermillion highlight this otherwise dark textured season.
